AMD 'Topaz XT' codename surfaces in the wild - an OEM rebrand or a feature level 12 capable mobile GPU? It is also mentioned as a full fledged DirectX12 GPU, something which combined with the lack of any public data only adds to the mystery.
Curiously however, this GPU is slated to be the R7 M255/R7 M260/R7 M265 a space which is currently occupied by an Opal Pro/XT chips. I suspect this is a driver issue/incompatibility with Windows 10, but until Dell provides a newer driver, users will be stuck. When I switch to the Intel graphics processor, it loads quickly/immediately. When I enable the AMD card, photos hang up while loading from the RAW converter and take minutes to load. Theoretically, the discrete AMD card should provide better hardware video acceleration than the Intel card. PS allows the user to designate which graphics processor they want to use. I'm not a gamer but I use Photoshop Creative Suite 6. Anyway, that aside I want to share this experience with anyone contemplating this system. The computer does also come with an Intel HD graphics card 5500 - I'm not an engineer but I believe the Intel graphics "card" is actually an integrated graphics area on the Broadwell I7 (5th gen) processor. I also have the Dell Inspi(4K display) and the AMD Radeon R7 M270 4 GB DDR3 card.
